Jared Ricks, OTR
Meet Jared Ricks, our dedicated lead occupational therapist and owner at Canyon Kids Therapy. He has over 10 years of total professional experience working in pediatrics in various capacities, including being a Spanish speaking psychosocial rehabilitation specialist and a licensed occupational therapist. He prioritizes collaboration with families to ensure every child receives the personalized care they deserve. As a father of three girls, Jared understands the desire that parents have to obtain the absolute best for their children.
Jared is a trained therapist in the SOS Approach to Feeding, paving a way for picky and problem feeders to overcome their fear of foods! Other programs Jared uses in his practice include Social Thinking!, Handwriting Without Tears, and The Whole Brain Child.
Jared has extensive experience working with all types of neurotypical and neurodivergent children including those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, fine motor delay, sensory processing disorder, developmental delay, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, anxiety, and more.
Jared's goal is to create a therapeutic environment where children feel excited to participate; his warm and playful approach ensures that therapy isn't just beneficial, but a genuinely enjoyable experience for every child. When not performing therapy services, Jared’s hobbies include playing the piano/organ, Latin dancing, playing Nintendo Switch with family, and swimming.

Meet Regina Ricks, our dynamic team member hailing from Canada. With a delightful blend of Canadian charm and international flair, Regina tackles her multifaceted role in billing, insurance management, patient relations, marketing, and overall business support.
Behind her warm smile lies a passion for problem-solving, whether it’s deciphering insurance jargon or perfecting the art of sourdough bread-making (she’s learning, but her loaves are still a little ‘doughy’ at times!). Regina’s bookshelves are filled with literature, and she eagerly shares insights for personal growth.
When not immersed in books, she tunes in to podcasts for wisdom and inspiration. Family is Regina’s anchor—cherishing moments with her husband, Jared Ricks, and their three adorable daughters. Regina’s dedication and care ensure top-notch client support on their wellness journey.
